Harla Ren’s debut single "Chanson fatale", in French meaning " fatal song", centers on themes of idolization, fixation and obsession.

Inspired in part by the folklore of sirens and succubus creatures, the lyrics lure the subject in with endearing fascination but slowly bleed into a haunting threat. “ Don’t bore me, don’t ignore me.. I’m writing your story”
